Edward Takacs founded High Tech Ventures  in 1986.

During his 15+ years spent placing high-level executives into early-stage start-ups, Takacs developed a profound domain knowledge of how to broker people, companies and ideas; how people make critical decisions; and how successful companies and careers are formed.

He holds a master of business administration from the University of Chicago, a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from University of Santa Clara, and a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of the Pacific.
